 Building a 6S1P battery pack with 40Ah Yinlong cells requires careful selection of busbars and hardware to ensure safe, reliable performance. In a 6S1P configuration:

  • 6S (Series) connects six cells in series to increase voltage, producing a nominal pack voltage of around 13.8V to 15.6V, depending on Yinlong cell specifications.
  • 1P (Single Parallel) means no parallel connections are made, so the total capacity remains at 40Ah — suitable for applications needing moderate capacity with stable high voltage.

Busbars are essential for managing current and maintaining low resistance. Due to high demands, copper busbars are ideal for their superior conductivity, with recommended dimensions of 2–3mm thickness and a width of around 15–20mm to ensure safe, efficient current handling across series connections.
